FAMOUS CRIMES

Isn't it curious that the crimes below are not the most serious and dangerous crimes, but they are very famous. Why? They are famous because people who commited this crimes are still not found.

Skyjack by Dan Cooper
Dan Cooper, worker, on November 24, 1971 aboard the plane the Boeing 747 was going to Seattle. Soon after launch, he said that he has a bomb. Cooper did not aspire to kill anybody; he demanded $200,000, and four parachutes. When he received all that in exchange for hostages, the plane flew in to the air, and a few minutes later, Cooper jumped off with a parachute from the plane. After that, nobody saw him. In 1980, The FBI found almost 6 thousand dollars near the Colombia river. Then there was a question concerning whether survived Cooper after the jump. Also Richard MakKoj made an attempt of a similar air robbery four months after. He said that he was Dan Cooper, but his case was stopped, because during the commission of crime he was absolutely in other place.

Thieves of a museum Gardner.
18 March, 1990.
Isabella Stewart Gardner opened her own museum in Boston in 1903. Besides the fact that this museum is known for the wide collection of classical and modern works of art, it also is known for the most famous robbery in the history of America. The thieves, who looked like policemen, entered the premises, and took out 13 works of art. The total cost of this art was $200,000,000 dollars. Among those works, there were 3 Rembrandt's pictures and one picture by the Dutch painter Yana Vermera. The criminals were not found. Everyone who was suspected denied their fault and there were no more facts found.

Big robbery in Japan.
10 December , 1968
Four workers from the bank “Nihon Shintaku Ginko”, transported by car about 300 million yen (Japanese currency) intended for workers of the "Toshiba" company. They were stopped by a policeman and asked to leave the car as he thought that there was a bomb in that car. Four men left the car and the policeman started to survey the car. When the smoke became visible, he told everybody to step away. After that "policeman" sat in the car with the money and drove away . Despite the fact that there were hundreds of proofs, including a false police motorcycle, nothing could help to find this man. After long time, detectives found his 19-year-old son . The guy has committed a suicide, and there is no chance to find his father.

Murder of JonBenet Ramsey
25 December, 1996.
Children's beauty queen, JonBenet Ramsey, lived with her family in Colorado. The day after Christmas, her mother, Petsi, found a note with the payment requirement of $118,000. Contrary to the requirements of thieves, the police got involved, and after 8 hours of searching the body of JonBenet was found in basement. There were no traces of beating on her body, and later it was found that the note was written on a sheet of paper belonging to the family. The sum mentioned in the note coincided with the last check received by the father of the girl; that is why the possibility that the crime was made with his wife was not excluded. However, inspectors were sure that the criminal is not from this house. In 2006, in Thailand, the police arrested John Mark Karra, who said that he was with JonBenet when she died, but his DNA did not coincided with the DNA that was found at the place of the crime.
Have you ever hear about all this before?
