San Diego may force Padres to trade "star pitcher"

The San Diego Padres are a pretty decent baseball team. The team is going through a scandal right now because they might have to trade their "star" pitcher that might have to traded to another team. The San Diego Padres don't want to trade their star pitcher because he is really good and has helped them through out of the season. The contract stated that Jake Pevy was going to have to be traded because his contract was finished with. The Padres eventually kept Jake Pevy. He later became of the best players in all National League. Here is the website for more information: http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/sullivan/20081019-9999-1s19sullivan.html
Here are three ways you can make sure that you have a up-to-date contract.
1. Visit the person that wrote out the contract and have it be up to date.

2. Check before you sign a contract

3. Call people that are a part of the contract if you have any problems
